Ok, as usual long time no post- There will be updates on Ghost coming soon. As well as posts about the orphan kittens I am taking care of too. I started a separate cat blog for these things actually. I will also be starting a separate Persphone Minerals blog & maybe do away with this one after that.
Anyway this is the blog where you will find updates on the foster cats.

Urgent- help needed for a diabetic kitty!
This is Ghost. He is foster kitty I have taken in via Kindness Connection Animal Rescue. My friend that I used to live by is the one who started this rescue thing because there are NO no-kill shelters in Fort Worth.
I took Ghost in on 12/21/11 & she told me has diabetes. HE has chunks of fur shaved out where the shelter he came from couldn't get the mats out any other way. And they didn't even get them all. He was with another foster who had one too many cats in one place for about a week before he came to me. I honestly don't know just how long he has been without insulin or without his proper food. He is supposed to be on a very expensive Rx food. Well, I am cutting that cost by making a diabetic cat food recipe I found online. I just got a bunch of stuff for it.
However, he still needs insulin and he needs to be taken to the vet & observed with it to determine his right dosage. We don't yet have enough funds to get the insulin or take him in.There are always more cats in need then there are donations. He is extremely underweight. He has vomited a couple of times. He is very sweet & loving & I am so scared he is going to become fatally ill if I can't help him.
This is where I am going to take matters into my own hands. I already had the vet call in the prescription to CVS by me. It's should be about $45 & depending on how much he needs should last 2-3 months. His clinic visit will be $35. Each glucose reading will be 6. They will do at least 5 tests a day but I do not know how many days he will need to be there.
I am able to provide the basics- food, litter etc. However, when it comes to health care for Ghost I am going to have to cave in & turn to you guys & anyone else how can maybe help.

I don't think I should need to raise anymore than a total of $200, maybe even $150?

That lippie is Beloved from Fyrinnae. I have actually had it for quite some time now but I have only recently been wearing it like crazy :D
Yes, I still had on my seahorse pjs for this, lol. Oopsy....
This one has DeadRinger on the lids over FPE and Vindictive in the crease.
The lippie is Sobe's Panic with a little bit of a sheer orange gloss by Revlon called Firecracker.
I had fun making these :D

An almost metallic golden orange topped with a generous amount of gold holographic sparkle.

Somewhere between a deep, dirty gold & brown with neon green, teal, and purple sparkles. A big thank you to Erin for helping me name this one!

Devil Doll-
Red on red :D A super sexy, uber-bright red topped with red sparks.

Cemetery Dirt- This is probably the shiniest black I've done yet. Reminds me of vinyl ;)
Chock full of blackened gold & silver sparks.

A creamains ash grey with a firey orange shift & coppery orange reflecks.

Persephone Minerals turned 1 on August the 8th! I didn't get the anniversary sale launched on the 8th though :( I have been very slowly , little by little getting everything listed on Artfire. Alright we have come to the last of the looks I've done with shades from the LOST colelction. I almost deemed this one a fail until I lined it & got the mascara on. Then I realized I actually like it. I am also kicking myself in the ass pretty hard for not having better photos of the look I did with 4. I suppose I can do it again one day.
Anyhow, if you wanna be seasonal this would be more of autumn look for sure. It can also be made into a gothy look as well.
